Springfield, MO…March 14, 2011 Award-winning furniture, lighting and accessories company, GuildMaster, is unveiling a product array this April designed to create excitement and success on the retail floor. The company showroom is located on the first floor of the C&D Building.
Building on 10% increases in sales this winter in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas, the company has geared up to increase those numbers in High Point with fresh intros and a major collection by noted industry designer, Raymond Waites.
GuildMaster is known for innovative hand-crafted and decorated styles that have led to steadily increasing sales, even during the recent economic downturn. The company’s confidence in an industry turnaround has led to continued investment in developing products as well as doubling the space in all showrooms. They maintain an elevated pace of new product introductions, debuting over 300 new items in April, each created to attract the attention of today’s consumers.
“Our strategy has been to stay active, do the things that translate to success in the industry…listening to retailer needs, constantly introducing fresh looks and supporting the markets,” says GuildMaster CEO Steve Crowder. “We feel consumers responding through the ordering of our dealers. Now we are taking it to the next level with design guru, Raymond Waites. Working with him has been a pleasure and we are confident buyers will want to feature ‘New America, Coming Home’ on their floors.”
Classic traditional themes are translated by Waites in a modern new way to suit the tastes and needs of current generations, whether young professionals, active families or down-sizing baby boomers. This comprehensive collection is crafted from solid mahogany with hand-wrought layered finishes, accent trims and authentic hardware.
Waites is widely recognized for his innovative trend setting designs in multiple categories, from furniture to linens, tabletop and lighting. He originated the American Country movement in the 80′s and the Vintage look in the 90s, his styles generating over $4.5 billion at retail. He is a published author and has received numerous awards.
